Pet Boarding Requirements

Like any situation similar to boarding a pet (e.g. finding a sitter to care for one's child), there are some things that you will need to do prior to your pet's stay.

Required Shots

The following vaccinations are required to board your pet. A copy of the shot records from your vet is required when you bring your pet in.

  • Bordatella
  • Rabies

  • Leukemia
  • Rabies
  • Distemper

If it is the first time you have boarded your pet with us, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire about your dog. This helps us to familiarize ourselves with your pet, and if we notice something unusual, the first thing we'll do is pull out the questionnaire to see if you had mentioned this situation in it.

Dropping off your pet

When dropping off your pet please bring the following:
  1. A copy of up-to-date shot records from your veterinarian
  2. A leash for your dog
  3. Medication in its original container and any food your pet is accustomed to taking with it
  4. A blanket (unstuffed) and up to 3 toys (no tennis ball sized balls or smaller or no rope toys; optional)
  5. Your own food (optional; if you chose to bring it, please refrain from bringing more than what is needed for their stay and put it in a paper or plastic bag-- we will put the food in containers at the facility marked with your pet's and your name)
